Only a few minutes in, but this doesn't sound good for his future in Carolina. Although he has already said that his decision won't be about the money but more about where he wants to end his career.

That and he said who had the best QB or at least put the EFFORT into getting a QB or molding one they already have....QB will make the difference (it sounded to me).

If he leaves then I hope J-Stew becomes the best RB in the league and that D-Will drops.

I wish D WIll the best but we will get our running game back on track. We have the depth to keep all of our RB's fresh and an o-line built to run people over. DWill will miss that eventually.

Have people totally and completely forgotten that Miami doesn't have a QB either..

Guess that's where the team putting some effort into getting one and/or molding one comes in....

Sometimes just seeing the team/person TRY to address what is apparently a big concern for more than one of the other players in the locker room, can shift the decision.

We go with MM and JC, we probably lose Smitty and Williams. Have the feeling Pep walked for the same reason.

A lot of people are coming out of the woodwork saying Peppers left because of the QB situation...I think you're either new fans or your memory don't work so good. Peppers wanted out before QB was an issue. He wanted out back when Jake was still decent and pretty much the same QB that went to the Super Bowl with the team (notice I didn't say "took the team to the Super Bowl"). So no, I don't think the QB situation was the catalyst for Peppers leaving. It may have snowballed, adding onto his reasons after his opinion was already made, but he was wanting out before QB was an issue.

question is if they want a rookie, a veteran who they won some games with in the past, or a 2nd year player they haven't won anything with... or a veteran from outside the team...

According to a good deal of the players that have spoke out recently, including the heart and soul of it - Jon Beason - they want Cam.

I think the players are starting to feel a lot like a lot of our fans are - the front office has avoided the QB position and it has hurt us. They want to see a commitment to that position, and they'll feel a lot better about the direction of the franchise.

Jake was not that good for long. Once teams had film on him and he knew Fox was nut hugging him, he was toast. Do not see any defensive player (with that kinda of talent), watching their offense go 3 and out and throwing INTs wanting to stay. At that time players really didn't say a lot under Fox (since then) they are speaking out alittle more..

Smitty wants a QB

Williams wants a QB

Beason says he'd be surprised, if Newton isn't taken #1...hint...hint

This would never have happened under Fox. Question is, how many felt that way that walked/gave up, but never said or hinted to the QB situation (in public)???
