The odd thing is, I always saw Gantt as not harsh enough in his coverage of the team.

I think he played it well. He was pretty fair. You want scathing? Check out the forum after games we lose, or after the multiple games we lost in a row this past season.

Gantt actually hit Foxy with several pot shots during the season and allowed Fox to insult the front office simultaneously. I wonder if Tweeting was his demise?

Also, I wonder if they got rid of him because of his repeated prediction that we're taking Cam and they know we're going in another direction and didn't want to deal with the criticism.

I believe it had nothing to do with him saying we'd take Cam. The Panthers didn't actively force him out, it was probably just obvious they were unhappy with him after the Richardson stuff.

I am sad to see him go but I haven't really enjoyed his stuff this season for whatever reason.

Well if they weren't screwing up....

I don't read the CO out here but I do trust the local opinion I get from you guys. He did seem a bit harsh but you gotta call a spade a spade (as in shovel, not racist).

So this is bad? Are the other writers really worth a crap or will they just candy coat Herr Richardson's antics?

That actually would have been a positive for them (increasing trade value).

Well I kind think now he must have leaked something about Can he shouldn't have.

Then damage control is astonishing because nothing he's "leaking" is all that big so it must have been gone already

In fact, lately he's claimed less inside info than a lot of the national guys, so I kinda doubt it.

      I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.

      I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
