I just wanna know if this is really the end of the House Stark as far as the war is concerned, just yes or no from a book reader, without having anything else spoiled. I know if I go digging I'm gonna stumble across a spoiler. Just tell me, I'm thinking obviously yes on the one hand because their king and most of their men are now dead and one of their allies is now aligned with Lannister, then maybe not on the other because of Bran and Arya. I JUST DON'T KNOW!

I dunno if Bran and Arya will be any help in a war effort though... Besides, as far as everyone is concerned, Bran and Rickon are dead, so theoretically Sansa is the queen and Tyrion the king?

The only way I'd see it happening is if whatever is left of Robb's bannermen band together and fight in honor of the Starks, but not necessarily for or as the house.

But I have no idea what I'm talking about, this is just me spitting random speculation.

does it really matter?

Still don't know whats going to happen with House Tully. Cat's brother is now leader of that House and they are vastly bigger than House Frey from what I have gathered. Oh well, My hope rest with Dany now.

It was, in a real way, television as assault. I'd imagine there are a number of viewers who are done, done, done with this show now, because it's difficult to endure, or to risk enduring again. But that's as it should be. When you murder an idea, the bodies pile up.

One of the only reasons I continued watching this show after they killed off the best character (imo), Ned Stark, was to see some sort of revenge/justice/bad poo happen to the Lannisters. Now I am again questioning the quality/value/point of this show. I guess I am not that entertained by this world where the cruel Lannisters are the winners for three straight (all) seasons and the decent characters with redeeming qualities are horribly slaughtered (Ned Stark wasn't enough?).

I just watched the episode and all I want to do is cry...

I'm shocked, I'm angry, I'm hurt, I feel betrayed.

then I remembered the 2 rules of Game of Thrones

1st rule don't become attached to the main characters

2nd rule seriously  DO NOT become attached to the main characters

<---goes back to staring out of a window aimlessly

If we cannot become "attached" to main characters - wtf is the point of watching?
