NFL Draft Viewing Party - Growlers Pourhouse

Recommended Posts

I (and others) will be heading to Growlers Pourhouse (NoDa)to watch the NFL draft tomorrow night @ 7pm. Growlers was kind enough to let us use their establishment for the 2nd Huddle Podcast and now we are going to go and drink beer there and revel in all that is the draft.

Growlers was ranked as one of the Top 100 places to drink beer in America.

GROWLERS POURHOUSE

Charlotte, N.C.

Barely a year old, Growlers has stolen the heart of Charlotte beer lovers and simultaneously taught non-geeks the way of beer. A dozen taps and one rotating cask pours suds from as far as Coronado Island, while new educational events school the masses. House-stuffed sausages eclipse the rest of a scrumptious beer-food menu and well-edited, rotating oyster bar. 3120 N. Davidson St., growlerspourhouse.com(serves food, new to our list)

If you like the Panthers pick...drink beer and rejoice

If you hate the Panthers pick...drink beer and cry

Im not afraid of them and would gladly embrace them on draft night. If the Panther fanbase and the team can open its arms and embrace a QB like Cam Newton, I can put aside any beefs and disagreements and embrace my fellow Huddlers and celebrate a new era and beginning for the Carolina Panthers.

    • Why are Vikings fans acting like we peed in their cereal?
    • I’m actually fine with our TE group. I would like to see us upgrade at ILB, maybe safety and CB.   I think we are good at WR. I thought Corley could have been a good player but I guess he wasn’t doing good at all.   I came across this article about Corley from today. I know sometimes a change of scenery can really help turn around a player and we’ve seen plenty of players from the jets end up being good other places. I just don’t know if Corley is that guy.   https://www.newsweek.com/sports/nfl/jets-insider-shares-embarrassing-fact-about-malachi-corleys-release-2119816
    • I was really rooting for him after seeing that video about his struggles. I always thought he was a solid and underrated player.   I thought for sure he would have made the team after hearing all the hype and how he made that overthrown catch by Plummer behind the line and still was able to gain a yard or two off it. Plummer really overthrew him each time yet he was able to still not lose yards. I think he still could play in the nfl. I think he may need a few months to get into top form though. Hopefully he will get signed to another team.
