I've never heard of him, but here's what Charles Davis and Mike Mayock said:

- Good football player, better than a 4th round talent.

- Has some off the field issues. Got a DUI and had an ACL problem in college.

- Good special teams player.

- Plays with a swagger, but it doesn't always translate into great football play.

I'm in the same boat, rufftown. I hadn't heard of him before the pick. A little surprised it wasn't Brandon Burton or Davon House. Going to do some research on this Hogan kid.

They believe that Rivera is a great "molder of men". They like the coaches they brought in and like how they are all teachers. They did not have faith in Fox like that, he was more of a players coach and loyal.

With that being said I like this pick, being a Charlotte 49er alum my college football team is Louisville. I watch a lot of Big East games and this kid can play.

Meh, I would have rather had Burton or Boling there but not a bad pick. Kiper said if it weren't for his knee and off the field issues he would have been chosen much higher. Hopefully he will get himself straightened out and become a solid player for us.
