Beason's civil trial starts today

I think it's entirely plausible that Beason punched Frye in the face and he's using his fame and fortune to get away with it. But nobody cares about Frye so he'll get away with it. ha

Nah, in civil court they apply more common sense and say listen we all know you punched the douchebag.....and he sure did deserve it. Now, we are gonna slap your hand b/c even though he deserved it and was begging for it (and we actually endorse it)........we have to punish you.

JakeFlake will tell you, I would take any chance I could to kick Frye sqwa in the nuts.

When all of this was happening, I was still posting on charlotte observer. A good number of people came on there and said Frye went to UNCC, was an extremely unreliable person who steals from people, even his own family. Lies to all of his friends, and is constantly going around downtown Charlotte claiming he is a Panthers player.

The story I got was he was basically following Beas and his boys around the club for a while yelling...."racial slurs" toward Beason and his friends. Seems like Beason pretty much put up with it for a while until one of his friends decided he wanted to intervene and tell the guy to stfu. The coke thing I guess came from that whenever they confronted him.

I don't care who you are, don't go around yelling poo like that. Especially not to the best defensive player on our team. Beason is probably one of the most stand-up players in the NFL. Not a bad bone in his body. The guy has a good head on his shoulders and knows what hes doing. He's definitely got brokerage accts at Wach/WF which means he isnt throwing his money away either like most NFL players do as soon as they get it.

Beason won't get into any trouble over this. If anything, it will remind everyone in Charlotte just how much we hate Frye and to look out for him on the streets.

Basically, If I was Frye, I would be very very scared right now.

ps..there is embarrassing pics of the guy all over the interwebz.

Beason is a great football player......lets not act like we know the guy on that level.

I mean, Marvin Harrison appeared to be as nice as it get in the NFL. He was probably textbook definition of a nice guy.......and if given the chance he would probably kill you and everyone you care about if you rub him the wrong way. He keeps it real.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
