Jonathon Joseph, anyone?

If he doesn't go back to Cincy I see us making a serious run. He'd be a great pick up, and Hurney made it clear the other day we're opening up the checkbook.

This Hurney did say.. IIRC, I think our coaches have a few players they are going to make a serious effort to sway this way. And I do believe our franchise will look good to FA...

If we don't go after a CB, and Marshall manages to stay, I think we'll be good. My only concern is Marshall putting in the effort if his only option is to stay. so with that said, grabbing someone like Joseph and getting rid of Marshall sounds like a huge upgrade to me..

Quinton Jammer anyone?

yeah, I'll pass... had a good career, but I'd prefer someone younger if possible..

How old is Nnamdi? I wouldn't give big money to an old CB.

I believe he's turning 30 or is 30. Is love Nnamdi on this team buck his price tag would be ridiculously high. Unless Hurney really wants him. Then I doubt we even attempt it. He will more than likely go to Dallas or some team that needs that one piece.

On Joseph, he's not bad I can see him and gamble locking down the back field. I just hope we sincerely go after him. The great thing is, he's still young. JR loves local products as well so making a move to acquire his services seems likely.

i can really see us not only letting marshall go, but cutting gamble as well. i can't see rivera wanting to put up with someone like him after the crap he pulled last year.

there will be a little bit of a housekeeping getting rid of people with bad attitudes and i can see gamble being one of the first shown the door.

with the money we would be spending on asomugha, we could probably get joseph and someone like chris carr, josh wilson, or maybe antonio cromartie (if rivera thinks he's worth the bother).

Do we know why Gamble walked off the practice field that day?

Gamble is getting paid top CB money when he isn't one. W
