Local band has a Jake hate song...

My stepbrother played me this song a little bit ago...

Never heard of this band before, but apparently they are getting pretty popular on the east coast.

They are also apparently bigtime Panther's fans which is why I don't understand their vicious hatred for Delhomme. I mean sure the guy had some bad times for us, but "I hope you die in Cleveland"? It just seems a little harsh.

I guess when you have no talent you have to make a controversial song to get attention. Otherwise it would be hard to even to make it through one of their songs. I have a friend whose 18 year old son and their garage band would blow these losers away.

Vocals aren't too horrible, the guitar work is far too muddy and the percussions sound drowned out.

Meh.

As for the Jake hating, yeah... The man almost won us a superbowl and played pretty well before Tommy Jones got to him.

This band does not know what music is or how to write it.

Reminds me of that commercial...

"I really love my bank"

"WTF are you doing?"

"You told me to write what I felt..."

"Yea....don't do that"

Delhomme sucked yea we get it but telling him to die is fuging childish and makes them look like a joke. Move on already, people here were way too attached to him anyways, obviously, good and bad. He wasn't always great but if you're going to make a song about a player fuging up and sucking why not someone else. A song about Jarrett would have been much better.

While your assessment of the band was spot on, I'd have to point out that it's "Tommy Johns" surgery... Not Tommy Jones... Gosh...

Get em next time Tiger...
