How do you guys feel about Shockey now that he's in Charlotte?

After he had a semi-productive year with a few big td catches (pretty good for his age and being injury prone), people will come around to him.

I feel like how most people feel when he comes to there team. The only difference is that we got him on the cheap were everyone else has payed well for his services.

I hope he comes to the panthers ready to work and keep his mouth shut. He drops alot of balls, has very good blocking abilities and should be able to contribute to your offense right out of the gate.

I've never had an issue with Shockey.. he's still a guy whose averaged 13 games a season and plays with attitude..

He's an old, broken down, injury-prone, TE who is still better than anything TE on our roster. It is what it is.

In my view, he's still a largely overrated injury prone player, putting on a Panthers jersey for one season doesn't change that. But to Uptown Bully's point, he's probably better than any other TE on our roster.

I'll let you know when I see him take snaps and how much he helps us vs. NO. I'd be worried if I were you I'm sure Shockey isn't the type to hold back and I know he has a little left in the tank.

Shockey is still injury prone. He is still a dick. But, he is the best pass catching TE that we have had since Wesley Walls. I am excited to see what he can do in Chud's offense, more importantly, I am more excited to see Chud's offense, period.
