Edwards is a different type of receiver than Holmes. They shouldn't really be compared imo.

You're right.

Holmes is clutch, one of the best route runners in the league, great hands, and overall more polished.

Edwards is a deep threat with flaky hands who disrespects authority.

I will call it now, Armanti Edwards will surprise people......Edwards will beat out Pilares. Edwards is the better athlete and will have people that want him to succeed. I think people are putting too much stock in this kid from Hawaii......that offense has inflated how good it's offensive players have been for years coming out.

And read my posts, DA, I'm not a fan of Edwards and would prefer if they didn't go after him. The guy has one above average season as the #3 option for the Jets (who struggled to score at some points in the season) and all of a sudden this guy is the second coming. This time LY everyone wrote him off as a bust.

Not a fan of Edwards and he would probably rank towards the bottom of third of WRs I would like to see the Panthers pursue.

i think we should go after a WR. idk bout you guys but this talk of relying on gettis and lefell just doesnt seem like the best idea. it reminds me of the past when we said same thing about jarret, carter, coulbert, and others we couldnt get a guy to compliment smith.smith is still a good receiver and i dont see why adding another proven WR would not help us. if gettis and leffell bloom then great we would have a good WR corp and since most dont see smith here next season let alone this it would only help us by us by having mature recievers who are ready when smith leaves. but yea id really like to go after holmes first then edwards after that dont know who to go after id have to look it up more.
