Hall of Honor

Jenkins and Peppers no way solely based on the terms when they left. Both burned bridges. Everyone else I agree with but not sold on Moose. Great guy and great teamate, but not sure he is worthy. He was more of a solid WR v. excellent for us. He is a stand up guy though.

I am no way advocating for Julius Peppers to be elected, but I truly believe if he ends up in the Hall of Fame the Panthers will honor him. He will have spent most of his career with the Panthers, went to the Super Bowl as a Panther, and was their number 1 overall pick.

Also I think that Jake Delhomme needs to be honored by the Panthers in some way and I really would not mind seeing him elected.

It is obvious Kasay is joining Sam Mills, but I think Smith and Delhomme need to make it and if Peppers makes the Hall of Fame he should be as well. I really would not care either way on Rucker, Minter, Walls, and Muhammad. I could see them getting in and it would not bother me if they did or did not.

did you give Jerry Richardson that bojangles cup he had today?

How old are you that you continue to use that joke that no one on this board has acknowledged as funny. Seriously man you need a life that you are on these boards 24/7 and all you do troll and try to be funny. I know your big circle jerk of friends are going to come and join you soon and you guys are going to form your alliance of e-bullys and make jokes that are not funny and say things you would never dare to say to someones face. Grow up man and get over yourself because being cool on the internet is only going to take you so far.

Yeah I guess moose could seriously be on this list, especially since he is pretty much a staple in the Charlotte community now. Radio show, helping with kids, middle school sports etc

Moose should make it before any of them.

Jenkins was really only dominant for two seasons in Carolina.

He'd stopped caring in 06 and 07.

It's a damn shame that he stopped caring too, some of my fondest Panther watching memories were seeing the "big kid" defy fat-gravity and superman dive over OLinemen and land on and around the QB. We'll never know the whole story, but it was pretty lame how he left. At least we actually got some real compensation for him, though I do believe he was worth more than a 3rd rounder.

Correction: we got a 3rd and a 5th for him, which turned into Godfrey and Barnidge. There's no real way of evaluating what we got compared to what I think he was worth at the time (2nd at the least) but Godfrey has been alright and Barnidge has been an afterthought in Fox/Davidson scheme. I still think it's too early to judge either player... But that's neither here nor there.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
