Fortunately, being a Wake Forest fan, I don't have to worry about this sort of thing. While cheating has happened on occassion, its a rarity. And we have the football record to show for it. :)

All we have to worry about is our basketball players breaking in to someone's dorm room, after which we do dismiss them from the team.

Yeah he was deflecting yet acknowledging Miami's indiscretions while throwing Cam in there too saying yep....we get paid for real now..

I will now sum up all athletes inner thoughts as they find out they just got their school put on NCAA sanctions: ooops...sorry... Yeah ill take another lapdance.

My new favorite motto I kind of made up: I cannot care more about this than you....

Really guys just get over it..its the college equal of Baseball's steroids.

Being a current college student I'm just a little bit bias on this issue. It pisses me off that I'm paying out the ass and going into debit that I won't pay off until I'm 30 while some people get free rides and all kinds of goodies just because they can throw a football.

Actually, it isn't even the scholarships that bother me. It's the fact that rich old faggy men pine over the college athletes and worships them with gifts while the other 98% of college students are broke, driving 20 year old Honda Civics, and living off of $5 pizza.

That $5 pizza is pretty good

you better learn now that life ain't fair and even if this was regulated on college campuses, it isn't in the real world..

maybe one day people are going to quit bitching about fairness in the world and fuging accept reality..

I like to think, just after seeing Shockey earlier in camp, he meant nothing by it. It was clearly a joke. But I bet Cam wish he wouldn't have made it, given he's trying to get people to forget any negatives by playing well enough to make them focus on him as a player and worker.

My short and sweet .02 is this. I played a year of D-III football before tearing my labrum in my right shoulder. This is D-III now. I guarantee you, with football alone, that consumed about 30 hours a week between practice, film, games, and watching film/studying playbook on my own, if not more than that. Then you have to figure in class as well with homework. And I had a work study, which took about 10 hours a week. Now, take that, and imagine how much more intense that would be at a major school.

Pay the damn kids.
