He played like poo he was owned by Columbo and that stupid ass penalty was like come the fug on man..This is his 3rd season and we gave up a 1st for him. I was hoping he would come out strong, I know it's preseason but I don't see any improvement maybe he will come on strong once the season starts.

he needs to step his game up.

No one on that front 4 did anything worthy of any pay tonight. I'm not gonna single him out.

TBH he singles himself out on tape as he is the little dood doing the same spin move and getting blasted back a few yards on every play :(

I make it a point to watch him and he never does a rip or a swim. It's always the god damn spin. He always stays upright and spins in place and the tackle just waits for him to stop and manhandle him. Even Freeney who is a small DE will rip and spin and when he spins he spins low to get underneath the tackle and bounces up from the turf to continue the play. Brown just looks lost out there.

Yup, he spins upright and in place.....ridiculous.

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
