What does Cam have to do

I just want to see him grasp the offense this year. Next year I want to see the stats and wins begin to mount up. The haters are being rediculous. If he has 15-20 TDs and 15-20 ints, I'm good with that. The kid has had a month of NFL practice and two preseason games. F*ckin A people.

How about 5 wins in 16 games. Jimmy didn't have 16 games but i'm giving Cam a little leeway.

If Cam can lead THIS team to 5 or 6 wins then he should have good numbers for a rookie.

Also winning Rookie of the year OR being in a tight race with the winner.

And i find it funny you accusing me of alterior motives when i've been a huge supporter of Pryor playing quarterback and not wideout or tightend.

If he starts for the entirety of this season, coupled with the Offensive talent we have?

I'm expecting 6 wins minimum.

With a statline somewhat comparable to Ryan's a few years back. around 3000 yards, 12-15 TDs, with just as many INTs, coupled with a handful of rushing TDs and 2-300 yards rushing.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
