I'm not Happy, I Can't Lie

I wanted to shut those the hell up about last season. Great Cam day, end of the day still a lost

And we're going to lose next week which means 0-2. Best we can do is go 2-2 against Jacksonville and Chicago. What I seen today I feel positive about those games

And Beast? Smh

I wouldn't count on us beating Chicago. Jax, maybe, but Chicago is a good team.

A loss is a loss, and while I'm very excited by what Cam did, I wanted a win more than I wanted him to look fantastic. Still, would take a great game by our QB that gives me hope for the future and a loss than a loss and wondering why the hell he was in the game... so I guess I'll be happy there.

The worst thing about today wasn't that we lost, it was that I think we lost Beason for the season.

At least, we can see hope and we can see a future.

A clean draft next year, a key free agent signing or two, and we are relevant.

Yes, we lost, but last year, I drove 3 hrs one way to watch a team that could not get a first down to watching a team this year that had 400 yards passing.

Next week will be very very tough. GB is a great team; but, with each experience Newton will grown and if he goes down there is Anderson, just so long as I never see Jimmy Clausen again, I'll be ok.

Don't have the short term vision man...

We had a super short off-season. We have a number of new acquisitions. We have a new HC.

By game 7, we are going to be a force to be reckoned with. We aren't playoff bound, but we WILL win some games.

The worst thing about today wasn't that we lost, it was that I think we lost Beason for the season.

I've got a feeling it's just a high ankle sprain. He was having to change how he runs because of the pain and shoe... I think it made him put pressure on tendons un-naturally.

I was worried something like this would happen. Beason shouldn't have been on the field for another 3 weeks.

Why is Green Bay an auto-loss?

They're coming off a big win, or a primetime game. Probably have their ego's all puffed up. We're coming off a positive loss, in which the whole time was energized.

They play the games for a reason, but realistically, GB is probably our hardest opponent of the year at this point in time...

1) they are firing on all cylinders with a healthy team

2) we are still learning the offensive and defensive systems

3) our best defensive player is virtually guaranteed to miss that game if not more

imo we'll make a game of it, but we aren't going to win. GB is going to gameplan the hell out of stopping Cam...

On the flip side, Cam will be coming off a huge showing for his debut. Media is going to be anointing him already. Huge crash maybe in store for him. I hope not though.

    • JJ Jansen not being on this list proves that it is shite.
    • 2025 NFL Rank: Predicting top 100 players for this season - ESPN I'll save you the click- 0 Panthers in the top 100. A couple of former Panthers and a hand full of "draft- What-If's" on the list. If this nothing else, this type of list shows the down stream impact of terrible player personnel and scouting that was in place here for years.
