Predict Cam Newton's stats - week 2 vs Green Bay

I say:

14-26,252 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

9 carries, 51 yards, 1 TD

Panthers lose 31-17

I am, however, much more confident than I was Thursday. I have a feeling Cam will at least keep us in the game a while. You guys know he scored as many TDs in 3 quarters as Clausen did in 13 games last year? Fun fact.

we have to keep newtons plays around 20 a game....if he is passing much more than that we are going to lose. we paid D-will for a reason we need them to carry the load

I love D-Will, but I don't know if he is capable anymore. I think Stewart is our better running back now and we're gonna have to give him the bulk of the carries.

He won't throw for near as many yards simply because GB has a better overall defense and has some tape to watch on him. He'll probably run more often and hopefully he won't have to throw 35 times because of no run game.

My best guess: 12/27, 201 yards, TD, 2 INT's + 6 rush, 33 yards

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
