Now everyone will be fixated on the Stewart catch being overturned.....but that play also should of never occurred.

With the weather conditions...Rivera should of ran the ball and gone into the half with a 5- 3 lead. WTF was all that. Since they went pass heavy the Jags had enough time to run 2 garbage plays.....and both resulted with the best possible outcomes.

We are losing at the half bc of Ron Rivera. Nothing more.

If Fox was still here we would have done just that and everyone would be whining that we didn't take a shot for a TD.

Not true. I'm watching it on tv and I literally couldn't even see the Stewart play occur. It's almost impossible to tell who has the ball. The entire I time I was praying, "Please God, just let them take a knee!"

Rivera doesn't call the offensive plays but I agree... we should have the ball and tried to run the clock out. Passing in a torrential downpour is not a good idea.

In that scenario....it is Riveras call. He should veto the absurd stuff he was hearing and watching

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
