The Game Atmosphere Today

I'm kind of disappointed a lot of fans bailed when it started raining, but then again I'm sure a lot of them weren't expecting rain.

On another note, a lot of the players tweeted that the fans were loud today which is good to hear.

Thomas Williams:

Thanks to all the #Panther fans! You guys stayed and supported us in that down pour today! You guys we loud! Thank you for helping today!

Jimmy Clausen & Retweeted by Darius Butler:

Huge win!!! Fans were def loud today in the downpour #PANTHERPRIDE #PANTHERNATION

Yep, I was there and it rained like you couldnt imagine.

Fans were awesome today.

It was noticable difference.

Honeslty, after the game, the fans were excited like it was a playoff game. I have never heard so much "lets go panthers" cheers after a game.

It was a blast.

Kudos to all who raised hell during the game.

The stadium atmosphere was awesome. I don't blame anyone for going into the concourse. A ton of those people have $150+ smart phones in their pockets. I don't blame them for seeking some refuge in that monsoon.

It rained harder than i've seen in a long time. I just rewatched it on TV and it didn't do it justice for how hard it was raining.

One thing I like about the CBS broadcast is the sound. I just think their stadium noise in the background is better. that being said, I thought the crowd was loud and I could hear the music during the downtime and it seemed like it got the crowd pumped up.

I don't remember the guy that came on hear and asked for suggestions for stadium music but the atmosphere seems to have picked up from what it has been in years past.

The best part about the stadium atmosphere today was not having to share it with a ton of other the other team's fan. It was nice playing a team that doesnt travel or have much of a fan base here. The stadium was pretty much ALL Panthers fans...... and I sooooooooooooooo enjoyed that.

Stadium was GREAT. I don't know where you guys have been but compared to the last two seasons this was great. I go to A LOT of games and his was by far the loudest game I have been to since 2008 Cardinal game and that was only loud for 1 quarter, and that was a playoff game. Didn't make it to last week' game.

People did not bail they went inside, it was half time anyways, they all came back out.

Tarheelfan23 and I (mainly him, he was loudest in section lol) were making the noise in the club seats, but there were others! I have sat in club quite a bit and have never heard them so loud, and half were empty. I loved the rain, some of the fake fans left and the real stayed, but most overall stayed. That is when the noise started.

It was surreal to see so little opposing team's fans.

    • You must be one of these "one move away guys."
    • ESPN has a whole is just hot takes and the dumbest takes possible. That is why it sucks so badly. They intentionally drag everything down to a lightspeed retarded level so that it is unwatchable. No jounalism, no nuance, no in depth analysis....just idiot after idiot blabbering/shouting about some hot button issue that they really have no real strong opinions about until the camera is rolling.
    • Young is the overwhelming priority. We have ample time on them and it's far easier to pivot at WR than QB. Remember that 2026 is year 4 for Bryce. That is 5th year option decision time and also the prime time to attempt to regain resources if a pivot is made. The odds of gaining any assets in a trade afterwards plumment very rapidly(all this depending on performance, obviously). At the end of that cycle, now we are likely in a $45+ million territory for him to remain.  So that decision trumps all others by a mile when it comes to personnel.
