I have an occupational dilemma.

ahh, they're "building a case", which is bullshit of course

stick around and force their hand, you know you can survive and don't need that job so don't sweat it.

you're savvy enough that you'll know if something is about to break loose so you could even stick it out til the eleventh hour then tell em to kiss your grits

good luck

you sound ruinously unhappy at that job. if you don't have dependents that are significantly tied to every penny you make, peace out and find something new. i've been in the soul-sucking corporate world before and there is no substitute for cubicle-bound misery - douchey bosses make it exponentially worse.

get outta there.

well, the other place wants to do an interview today so im thinking thats pretty awesome to just have been told on tues and then not see the job req then the guy who told me said don't worry about it, he will link it for me. then to have this today i think is a strong sign its just a formality.

but i have to cross the plane of the end zone first.

i had to at least wait till this past week to be fully vested before i did anything. i have chewed nails 9 straight months.

i will keep you schlubs posted.

what a week. hit my 5 yr for being fully vested which was the ONLY thing keeping me motivated.

Now my boss is this close to giving me my walking papers. I might call in "sick" Monday to get that letter in hand and then drop the bomb on him Tues.

ITS PARTY TIME!!!!

Nice. Congratulations.

I quit my job a couple months ago, left before my 2 weeks notice actually took effect and went on a road trip through French Canada and the Northeast before starting my new job.

Always feels great to quit when you hate your job.

If you have the letter don't be in a hurry to drop the bomb.

Enjoy it for a couple of days if you can.

When you have the power be slow. If not be quick.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
