Mare Bitching Thread

What's so sad is... With Kasay, when he came out on the field, you knew he was going to make it and felt surprised if he missed, regardless of the situation.

Mare is the exact opposite... you expect him to miss and are surprised if he makes it.

I felt just like Proudiddy said before he kicked.

FYI:

Kasay 2011 - 100% inside 40

Mare 2011 - 100% inside 30, but 75% on 30-39 yard field goals

Per Player Stats nfl.com

Totally agree. This is the second time he has lined up wrong to kick. Both times, he should have lined up further left. Screamed at the television that he would miss it to the left before he kicked.

There were 4 plays in the 2nd half that cost us, maybe cost us the game. The two holding calls on kickoffs and the missed field goal. The holding calls put us back inside the 20 when we should have been on the 35 or 40. The missed field goal cost us the lead and gave the ball to the Falcons in good field position. The last bad play was going for it on 4th down with close to 4 minutes left in the game. Should have at least tried a field goal. Even More can't miss from the freaking 4 yard line.

Kasay is doing great in NO. Hell, he may get to a SuperBowl again and help win it this time.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
