Is alcohol a part of your Family's Holiday Festivities?

Three choices:

1. It's a Dry Thanksgiving, soft drinks only

2. Alcohol is generally available, but not much is partaken

3. Drunken Thanksgivapalooza

We do two thanksgivings: my family is a (1) and my wife's family is a (2).

What is yours?

my family...there are a couple glasses of wine..but we always do lunch..they're boring..so not much of a throwdown...husbands family is MUCH more fun..generally do late afternoon dinners..so there is more alcohol consumed

xmas eve though..we celebrate with a few friends and it's always at our house..and we get hammered...good good times

We had 2 get wasted over the weekend.of a funeral when we were up in conn. 2 of my cousins on either side.of the family were absolutely hammered ...like falling into cabinets and crying and being emotional and loud.

It was bad. They both made asses of themselves. Stuff like that normally doesn't happen. Everyone gets wasted and has a good time. The cousins are younger though. Rookie mistake.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
