Very unlikely that the Colts will go 0-16

I talked to my uncle who lives in Indianapolis and is a Colts fan, I was telling him that this game is not a gimmie for the Panthers and he was saying the Colts organization is in full Suck for Luck mode. If we lose this game...man it's gonna be bad around here.

You can laugh in his face when Luck is a bust and Cam Newton is leading us to a winning record next season.

the OP's thread isn't entirely factual

If you had said at the beginning of the season that it is very unlikely the Colts will go 0-16 that would have been statistically true.

However what's done is done- all they need to do is go 0-6 which has happened enough times in NFL history to make it more than "very unlikely"

That's ridiculous logic. 0-16 is 0-16. Only one 0-10 team that had to go 0-6 to finish the season 0-16 ever did, which makes it very unlikely that the Colts also will. The reason why only one has is because they all started playing HARDER to avoid doing so, like the Colts will do this week.

The Colts don't want to go 0-16, so as the Season winds down, expect them to play harder to avoid 0-16. This is a game they feel like they SHOULD WIN, and they think it's critical to avoid 0-16. If they lose this one to a "2-8" team at home, it'll crush them, and they'll feel like 0-16 is guaranteed.

Therefore, expect the Colts to play this game harder than any other one than the last one if they enter Week 17 sitting at 0-15.

Again, your reasoning is flawed.
