You're fuging kidding me, right?! The Golden Calf of Bristol lead his college team to two National Titles and won the fuging Heisman trophy.

The Golden Calf of Bristol did NOT lead his team to two National Titles.

I really don't get the hate for the guy. He doesn't affect the Panthers in the slightest.

He is a victim of the media hype. Everyone with eyes can see he is not a NFL QB and never will be. But the dude is a winner and you have to love that. But the hypetrain with Bayless in front have him in HOF already while pissing on Denvers D, ST and every other NFL QB . That gets to me. So I have nothing against The Golden Calf of Bristol but everything against all the hype

Eyes /= sight nor vision.

Blind eyes/empty brain = "The Golden Calf of Bristol's not an NFL QB."

this is just getting fuging ridiculous, I hope the Pats rape The Golden Calf of Bristol. And I mean literally.....

...too far?

I think if Denver beats New England, you have to say that for whatever reason... The Golden Calf of Bristol just works there in Denver. I mean, so far Denver has had a nice winning steak but it doesn't hurt that EVERY team they play is banged up. Whether it's Chicago without Cutler or Forte, Minnesota without Peterson, etc. I think New England is their first real test, even though the Patriots defense has been less than impressive so far. I just think the Patriots can run up the score on Denver's defense, forcing The Golden Calf of Bristol to get away from clock management ball and forcing him to throw it, where his accuracy has come into question a lot.

I really think their winning steak, is just a FOX thing. He had a way of squeaking out wins in Carolina, towards the end of games. He's doing that in Denver now.

The Panthers under Fox never looked great and neither does Denver now, but the Broncos this season, like the Panthers under Fox, just find a way to win, ugly or not. The problem is, Denver will probably suck next year, since Fox was never one to have back-to-back successful seasons. haha

This is quite true to a certain extent. But there are explanations. Fox believes in efficiency and knows the easiest way to win the game is to keep the score low, play the field position game, take a FG if you have to, and be the last one to score.

The reason so many people are going crazy over The Golden Calf of Bristol is because they misjudged him in the first place and don't understand the finer points of football. He's perfect for John Fox because he never throws an interception which is exactly what you want when playing for field position or low scoring games.

Fox tried to do that here with Delhomme. Delhomme had break downs quite a bit and didn't remain as disciplined as Fox wanted him to. He'd force it when he probably shouldn't have. The Golden Calf of Bristol doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised as much as Fox and Elway didn't like him, if they told him: "we're gonna give you a chance Tim, but if you throw an interception, you're done". The Golden Calf of Bristol is smart and knew if he threw a pick, that team is done and he probably would have lost his job. He'll take 10 sacks a game before he'll throw a pass that can be picked off.

That's smart. And it helps that he must be able to read defenses to be able to do that and not get baited. But nobody wants to give him any credit for probably the greatest quarterback asset next to keeping your focus in 4th quarter comebacks and leadership. He's efficient as fug in scoring TD's and the most efficient QB in the league in interceptions.

And The Golden Calf of Bristol is accurate. Don't confuse completion % with accuracy! QB makes up half of that and your receivers the other half. If you're not accurate you THROW PICKS! He just has poo receivers who can't catch. Go look at Denver's receivers.

Here's Tim's famous 2 pass game for example. The other 6 passes were not perfect, but close to it, and all catchable except 1. I wish Cam's misses were as "bad" as The Golden Calf of Bristol's.

I don't agree with what the author says about his 3rd pass, and think it was just underthrown, but LOL at Denver's receivers. They are sorry. #87 just dived to the ground instead of trying to catch the ball...like a soccer player. WTF? That's Eric Decker btw dropping all those balls, a second year receiver, and a third round draft pick in 2010, and he's their #1 guy.
