It's quiet and it really isn't the sticks, just jump on 485. The cops suck though.

I grew up in Mint Hill, nice place back then, it's certainly "grown up" a lot more now.

Forget Mecklenburg County though, come out to Union - that's where it's at!

good schools in mint hill are good to maintain property value even if you don't have kids.

The new bain elementary school starts construction in feb. Dunno what part of mint hill you're looking at, though.

I live in Mint Hill and LOVE it. I'm right at 51 and 485 so from my neighborhood it takes 4 mins to get to 485. Nice neighborhood, nice people, great parks, quite. It's a good place for your family. I'm NEVER in traffic!

I found that in Mint Hill you're going to get more house for you money than in most places in Charlotte.

School wise Bain and Clear Creek elementary school are great. Mint Hill Middle is good, Northeast not so much though they say it's getting better. Independence and Butler are ok.

Every thoroughfare has red lights every 7 inches. No thanks.
