Scumbag John Fox

Meh I told you he would get hired and I told you he is a good coach.

Don't be surprised if he finds big success in Denver. He is a new Tom Coughlin.

I will be booing him next year at BofA though on pure principal.

his success is going to depend on The Golden Calf of Bristol, and The Golden Calf of Bristol is already bigger in Denver than Jake Delhomme was here, John Fox was here, and John Fox is in Denver. Fox was the last person to go and his career in Carolina extended beyond Delhomme. He won't outlive The Golden Calf of Bristol in Denver

I said Fox would be better off starting The Golden Calf of Bristol, but he went with his judgment, which of course was never great to begin with, and started Orton, who led them to a 1-4 record. Also there's like a pooload of Denver coaches that have won playoff games, and if Fox's peak there is a Superbowl loss, that will only be like the 5th time that's happened to the Broncos lol, not the first.

The best thing for the Broncos going forward and Fox (if he wants to stay in Denver), is to have someone work on his mechanics and footwork to become a more consistent passer going forward, because there is something that resembles a QB back there. But the Broncos cannot win playoff games against any team if he keeps completing less than 50% of his passes, and he's done that in numerous games this season. If The Golden Calf of Bristol fails, people are going to be way more sympathetic to him than Fox.

Anyone who thinks that John Fox and John Elway weren't forced to start The Golden Calf of Bristol by the fan-base are delusional. I honestly think they already expected that the season wasn't going to go well anyway and decided to get the The Golden Calf of Bristol experiment over with. Totally backfired when they started winning, then they improbably backed their way into the playoffs....even more improbably won the playoff game. Now they have a QB they didn't want cemented as their starter.

I wish The Golden Calf of Bristol all the best, and I never dreamed Denver would have this season turn out this way, but I still think it's all unintentional and hilarious how it all came together.

oh...The Golden Calf of Bristol saved that man's season because they sure were looking like a joke before fox just threw up his hands in the air and gave up....again.

dude's living on luck (or grace b/c he sure didn't earn it).

lol

Fox is just the guy who happens to be in the front seat taking a ride on the The Golden Calf of Bristol roller coaster that is Denver's long term scope

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
