Fisher to Rams

This is great on both ends for me. One less team for Chud to go to on the Panthers end, and since the Dolphins are my second "favorite" team, I didn't want them hiring an outdated, overpaid turd in Fisher anyways. Guy wanted control over almost everything, I wonder if the Dolphins backed down from wanting to give it to him.

Schottenheimer's an old retread who hasn't coached in years.

Not so great track record for those who fit that profile in recently.

He's a fundamentals guy and pretty much exactly what they need right now. He's not going to make them the Saints, but they'll turn into a tough, respectable team very quickly.

I doubt Chud is high-profile enough for the Bucs or Dolphins... sounds like both teams are looking for more of a household name to energize the fanbase.

I hope so for selfish reasons but In a way I also want a OC that might stay a few years before being a coach.

I was right. ESPN's reported Fisher had pretty much chosen the Dolphins, but Fins wouldn't give him all the power he wanted. St Louis did.
