Panthers helmet outside the combine interview room

While I agree with both sides. One whites are cooler than darker colors. But it comes down to athletic ability that will really matter. This might be a weird way to put it but if Lebron James and Carmelo are playing some street ball outside and Lebron is wearing black and melo wearing white means Carmelo has an advantage. I just don't believe that it really matters all that much. Yes your gonna be cooler in white but that dosent mean u have massive advantage. The colors your wear aren't gonna matter. What will matter is how good u are, how you've trained and other slight things. White and black and colors won't make big of a difference

This is embarrassing CatMan. I've tried to defend some of your ridiculous posting in the past, but the fact that you've so obviously seen the flaw in your argument and instead elected to make the conversation about something totally irrelevant is just pitiful. I hope you don't approach your life this way... It's just a pathetic way to live...

If you continue to dodge the issue at hand, how can you justify mentally your ridiculous responses? It is just cowardice of conceding that you were in err? I promise, I'm not one to rub anything in.

I'm going to go re-think my whole life now... LOL

So your whole point is that while wearing black may be hotter, there's no data that shows it actually affects on-field performance. That's probably true, although I'm not sure anyone has made a point of gathering such data... you can't base it simply on the W/L record, there are too many other variables.

I'd say that since it is hotter (which results in more fluid loss) why risk it simply to make a fashion statement?

The Panthers obviously encountered some compelling reasons to decide to wear white at home during the early part of the season, so I would defer to their judgement if nothing else. If I was going to be out in the hot sun for a couple hours and had the choice of wearing white or black, I would wear white - seems like common sense to me.

To the people still asking for black helmets, are you guys actually serious or are you guys just committed to trolling? It's as if you guys have forgotten that we wear our white uniforms 95% of the time. Do I really need to learn photoshop to show you how stupid that combination would look?

/fashion

Ravens wear black helmets with all white uniform. Falcons too. There are also others that wear black helmets with a white jersey. If we change to black helmets they would look good regardless what color the rest of the "away" uniform is. Pretty dumb post.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
    • Start posting in threads in the other forums instead of just creating threads. No one comes over here so you aren't starting conversations.  Get your ass up to 100 posts. It's not that hard. Don't create 100 posts. Contribute to conversations.
    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
