So my friend is a Saints fan...

Don't judge the guy. I got pissed and said I was going to stop being a Panthers fan while Jimmy Clausen our QB. Eventually I found out that I love the team too much to quit. Maybe he's the same.

Exactly, let's don't be to hard on that Aint's fan because all those years of wearing a paper bag on his head and being deprived of oxgen had to hurt his reasoning. :)

Wow. Makes no since having a QB named Brees in a place that has hurricanes. They should have taken Phillip "Mississippi" Rivers from San Diego--that makes more sense. Or signed Mike "Ron Gulf of Mexico" Vick. I am done. Sorry.

I feel for the fans-yes, I hate the Saints--but imagine how pissed you would be. They are the one expected to buy tickets to watch the players not caught up in this get whooped for the next several yeara.

Goodell will make some noise on this one. I expect the Players Association to support his punishments.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
