He has certainly been around, most recently the CFL. Unless there was guaranteed money, three year contracts protect the team in case he works out but risk little. They are not guaranteed unless he makes the active roster.

well, would could of lost those....with the kicks made. None would have been actually game winners.

But he didn't give us much of chance. In addition to your 2 games...if I recall early Rivera kept him on the sidelines the first few weeks for a couple of kicks most vet kickers get a shot at so there were probably a few more you could debate he at least didn't help.

Most of these contracts are not guaranteed. The only cap hit a team would have is if they paid them guaranteed bonuses....which I don't think any are.
