Geez - don't you feel sorry for Moore and Sanchez?

As I've said before, if you're not a media darling, you are quickly dismissed as soon as you don't produce.

Didn't Sanchez take the Jets to the play offs his first two season in the NFL, and one of those season just missed the SB by one team? Oh yes, he has a bad season where his team didn't make the play-offs and he should lose his job.

Can't wait to see how quick the cries for Cam to be benched as soon asget he doesn't surpass his rookie season and take the Panthers deep into the play offs.

The NFL is now owned by the sports media. Who would have thunk.

Sanchez rode a great defense, superb running game, and a number of good receivers to those playoff wins. Not to mention that his own teammates are coming out and saying they dont believe in him. That has ZERO to with the media.

The media reports his teammates comments so it must be their fault. fug the media!!

That's the business. A guy like Matt Moore is not going to have the same amount of time to prove he's the man like Sanchez has, and that sucks for Moore, but both would take a back-seat to a hall of famer if Peyton can still play.

Oh please...the only people who I heard criticizing Sanchez were those talking heads. And they seeking out anyone to share in their attack of Sanchez. Whatever was coming out of the Jets locker-room was more about the team as a whole and not just Sanchez.

Plus it's the same BS different team and season. I remember the season before when the Giants didn't make the play-offs, Tom Conghlin's head was on the chopping block and Eli was "over-rated."

I simply can't get over how media spoonfed some of you folks are. The difference between QBs like Sanchez is that they weren't "chosen" so their leashes are much shorter than other over rated QBs like Stafford, Bradford, and the QB who will be given way more leash than any QB in history, Andrew Luck.

Stop kidding yourselves. The media owns the NFL. I follow many sports and I don't see the same type of "if we say so, then it must be true" attitude with the media and other sports.

I compared Sanchez to Clausen last year and got attacked. Sanchez, in a Dilfer-like way, took his team to the AFC championship 2 years in a row before last season. That team was LOADED. Switch him and Clausen and Clausen is better there, Sanchez would have sucked here. Neither can carry a team---one had protection and weapons, the other had nothing--not even a supportive coach.

Sanchez and Clausen are not that much different--their circumstances were.

I do not feel sorry at all for Sanchez--he is getting fair treatment. He has always been overrated.

Moore is a great backup QB.

i watched every single jets game last season. sanchez is mediocre at best. his running game and the defense declined last year and you saw how good he really was.

So basically, you won't use any facts to back up your argument, are name dropping other QBs without any basis for comparison, and fallback with the same old "The media is LYKE SO BIASED AND STUFF MAN!" routine. Nothing to see here.

Problem with Matt Moore is he's never really carried the team on his back, made big fourth quarter comebacks, or won any big games. His wins, to my memory, generally come in blow out fashion. I think that's the knock on him, that when the rest of the team is playing well he will play well, but when he needs to step it up, he can't. Honestly who wouldn't choose even a 36 post-injury Peyton Manning over a Matt Moore???

The jury is back and Sanchez just isn't all that good. He might improve if he had a little time to sit and learn, but because he was thrown to the wolves as a rookie, he's still kind stuck in that range of development.

i dont feel sorry for either of them, if Moore was great, he would be here now and in the playoffs and as for Sanchez, he was a high pick and should've won with that talent at WR and hasnt, that's on him, with that said, i dont see Sanchez in danger of losing his job unless he has a horrible year and his backup (who i think with be Campbell or Henne) plays well.
