D-Will or Stewart trade?

Bullshit, story is bullshit. -_-

Kevin Acee is a reliable source.

The notion that this automatically means we're getting rid of Williams or Stewart? That's a reach. If anybody's in danger of getting cut it's probably Mike Goodson, and even that's not necessary just yet.

From what I've read, I doubt he ends up here anyway.

I know they are two different types of backs, but if Tolbert comes in then I believe Goodson and Williams are out.I love D-Will and Goody, but Tolbert's style is a good way to keep tread on J-Stew. While Stew and Tolb both can pound it up the middle John has the ability and speed to kick it outside and break the big one. Plus he's still young and has some mileage on him before the wheels fall off. Mike can keep pounding it while spelling Stew. Stewy and Tolby for the next 3 yrs. That's just what I see. Second rnd pick for Williams and I don't even know what to call Goody on. I'd like to at least get a 5th. The guy has sooooooo much potential. I don't know. I'm drunk and kinda like fug it right now. Just saw this thread title and decided to share my thoughts,

Trade Stewart and next years first to Cleveland to move up and draft Claiborne?? possibility.

bruh....what are you thinking! it's a 50% he'd fall to us anyway and besides Stewart is the best back we have! He' is solid and the last thing I'd want to see is him somewhere else in our division. Besides he goes to my church. So I'd rather trade you for a 3rd. hahaha just kidding but NO!

Tolbert will likely sign with Pittsburgh. He is not that productive gaining 3 yards a carry, is primarily a short yardage back and is looking for around 2 million a year. We won't do that when Stewart is a lot more productive and we have no issues with 3rd down conversions with Cam and Stewart as runners. Even if we weren't resigning Stewart or letting Williams go after this year, we could easily find someone in the draft to replace him. If we do sign him it likely means that Goodson is not coming back.

Could be signing Tolbert to play FB?

I don't know how much bonus money is left on DeAngelo's contract, but I suspect it's too much for us to want to pay a cap penalty on.

I have a hard time believing we'd be interested in trading Stew while we sign Tolbert.

Tolbert is a great power back and I think he had 12 TDs two years ago. A lot of you were worried about Cam taking a shot on these goal line TDs. Adding someone like Tolbert as a short yardage specialist would be great if it isn't going to cost us much. And he's a former Charger...

Tolbert wasn't used last season as a short yardage RB.

Shortage and goal line runners didn't have 54 receptions in 2011. Tolbert had more receptions, rec yards, rec TDs than Stewart last year. You really can't sign Tolbert and keep Double Trouble....would be retarded combo.

If they sign Tolbert I would think it would be they are splitting up Double Trouble....he isn't a Goodson replacement

For the last time. Stewy is going to get paid. By the Panthers. They are not going to let him leave. You can believe that or not. I cannot stop you from being impracticle.

The DWill crowd will use any opening to sound off against him. And the Stewy followers jump in with their he is the better back, he should stay rhetoric. Neither side is going to convince the other. Never knowing they both are wrong. Double Trouble will be together for at least 2-3 more years. DWill has a Panther freindly contract. And Stewy will get what he deserves as well. Like it or not. That is the Panther way. The powers that be LOVE having Double Trouble.

Unless someone makes us an offer we cannot refuse. Then I take it all back. And GOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
