Panthers rework Olsen deal: While several teams have announced contract restructuring for players this offseason, the Panthers are not among them. They quietly reworked the contract of tight end Greg Olsen last month, cutting his salary cap figure from $4.13 million to $2.4 million.

The Panthers converted $2.3 million of Olsen’s base salary and a $2.5 million option bonus into a signing bonus that will be pro-rated over the final four years of Olsen’s contract.

I do Siracha and maple syrup for a spicy hot sauce.
