Drew Brees Is Not An Elite Qb?

For the past 3 seasons I would watch Brees throw the ball and be like damn it's like he knew exactly what the defensive play was, or one of the taints running backs would just run right at a hole before it even opened up. So my question is.. Did the Saints Offense know what the Defensive play was before the snap?

I find it hard to believe that the Saints, who were already cheating, would have the ability to eavesdrop on opponents and not use it.

Thoughts?

my thoughts are, the saints didnt play every game at home, and brees destroyed teams on the road.

Brees is elite.

As far as listening I years ago....people are looking into it too narrowly. It was about gaining an edge if true....not systematic cheating.

For example, late in a game and a Saint opponent is down by 4. Opposing team calls a timeout to discuss the key play. Then the Saints call a timeout as the opponent takes the field to rethink there D. That is a good 5 minutes of thoughts and ideas he could listen to I regards to a key play.....and none of that would involve interpreting calls signals. The listening in for games could be about taking advantage of rare moments more than anything.

      Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.

      Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.

      Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
