Who Is Going To Lead This Locker Room?

Give me just a moment.

Who is going to lead this locker room and by definition define this upcoming year's team's attitude?

Cam is loud, cocky, funny, confident young lion. Smitty is the brooding, crafty, successful, locker-room quiet guy with the one-liners, that won't shut up with advice. Gross is the good-guy with the aw-shucks attitude but plenty of FU attitude on the field. Beast was once the unchallenged leader on dirt but then went down temporarily. Key is the most no-nonsense, let's get to business guy I have seen in my life. Rivera sets the tone, the players define the tone.

There is a reason teams with great drafts have not lived up to expectations, they never find a common goal/philosophy. Who does this team belong to on defense and offense?

My guess is Cam on O and quite possibly Luke on D.

Just because you get injured doesn't mean you are no longer the leader. It's been Beason's team ever since he was the one to have the balls to call Peppers out on his effort, or lack thereof.

Cam is growing into the leadership role and the wise veterans will make that happen while maintaining their own respected status...it should continue to be all about the team. It would be foolish not to prop Cam up as the leader and he should be more comfortable than ever taking on that role.

There is going to be ambiguity at Beason/Kuechly year two, maybe this year. Beast is my boy but Rivera is setting a new atmosphere, and it it is not accidental. Choose sides now because I do not think this will be amicable.

Not a chance in hell. Beason is the leader, even if he was moved to OLB (which I highly doubt.) There's no drama there.

    • Sometimes, reddit actually does deliver... There's always one, though...
    • So after watching (or tried to watch) Night 1 of Wrestlemania 42, I concluded on a few things: 1) WWE partnering with ESPN/Disney is by far the worst move WWE could had made. They either needed to stay on Peacock or simply switched over to Netflix for all of their PLEs because tonight's broadcast on the ESPN + app was absolutely terrible. I couldn't go 5 seconds without a buffer due to everyone trying to stream the show at once and you would think that WWE and ESPN would realize this before going into Wrestlemania weekend but yet still allowed this issue to keep occuring. Not only that but I backed out of the show and tried to see if that fixed the issue but realized that because of the buffering, it basically "paused" the show and I ended up being several minutes behind so once I got back in, the match had already ended and the magic was ruined by their stupid issue. 2) The ads.. the motha f'n ads... If it ain't greedy enough for both WWE and ESPN to steal our money but to force us to watch 5 minutes of ads after each match is absolutely ridiculous. You already have our money with all the streaming services and also with ticket sales, and with merchandise and the advertising for companies on their turnbuckles and ring mats... But yeah, let's throw in even more trash commercials to force it down our throats. I get they do it for RAW too on Netflix but is sad that both streaming services force live events to have commercials when really it should be commercial free. 3) Really, in the end, it was a lackluster 1st night and pretty predictable. For them to hype this show this much, I expected better. Literally, the only surprises for Night 1 was Paige returning and maybe the return of Bron Breaker but outside of that, it was pretty bad.    Ok... I am done ranting. Maybe I will feel better after a good night's sleep 😂
