The Tide Is Clearly Turning Against Goodell

Recommended Posts

A team that has waiting list of 60,000 fans on their season ticket list the worst organization in the NFL. Now that is funny.

They're just trying to reserve a seat for hurricane season.

yeah I too wish for a world where the prosecution always wins because nobody will defend scumbags on trial because if you're on trial you're a scumbag and nobody should defend you and if they do they hate america and babies and vote for demoncRATS.

Hey, if you're wrongfully convicted, why would you need an attorney? Jury's are clearly made up of trained law professionals with no emotional bias.

The only way you are going to overturn his punishment is find some one who will overturn the CBA given it gave him broad powers to do exactly what he is doing or to fight in some other grounds as a labor issue. The whole he didn't show us evidence is a moot point. He doesn't have to show anybody anything given he has the power given to him by the players and owners.

What Whitlock and ignorant Saint fans seem to forget is that Goodell had no reason to do what he did for any vindictive or punitive reasons. In fact he tried for years to ignore it and told the Saints* if they would simply stop it he would let it go. When they didn't he had no choice but to act. People act as if he is playing dictator and enjoys the role. I doubt he does or wanted it to go this route.

Part of a larger problem. Charlotte sports fans are too accommodating and nice to opposing fans. You think I could go on Saintsreport and spam about the Panthers? Or the Bobcats?

For once I find myself agreeing with KT, Charlotte fans need to get the sand out of there vagina's and kick there teeth in.

Good game by Lebron btw that is what the best player in the NBA should do.

HAHAHAHAAHAHA Yea a Panther fan that follows a team that has never won a Super Bowl, who had a juiced up team the only year they went to a Super Bowl, who has not won the NFC South in years, has a stadium that is half full most of the time and an organization that can't seem to get out of their way is going to call a team that has won a Super Bowl, has dominated the NFC South in recent years and has a waiting list of 60,000 fans on their season ticket list the worst organization in the NFL. Now that is funny.

So who did your badnwagon ass pull for prior to 2009? Do you Saint idiots just ignore the first 50 years of the Saints** organization? The same team that was going to move out of New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina forced Bensons hand? The same team that is exactly 17-17 all time versus the Panthers?

Wow, he won an award I've never heard of and was a spokesman for something. That totally makes up for being racist and terrible at his job. Previous comment withdrawn. Face it man, nobody worth a damn reads Whitlock. Or Fox Sports as a whole for that matter.

Fox never gets anything right.

This post right here encapsulates Saints* idiots the best. This guy has no clue what happened prior to 2009. Not one clue. All his smack talk originates from the day he bought his Brees jersey 3 years ago.

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
