Why in the world would you want to put your best DE at the DT at anytime of the game. CJ will be on the outside 99% of time. Ain't saying he might not play inside one of 2 plays per game. But been in the inside ain't going to happen very much. To much of a risk of him getting hurt at a postion he is not playing at.

you'd be surprised how much it happens.

Not holding you to it Catman, but if you had to guess, would you think Medlock beats out Mare for the kicking job?

I really hope he does... With that kind of range, the accuracy he showed in the CFL, and the age difference, I really don't know why we would keep Mare over him.

Based on what I saw today I could see Medlock beating out Mare.

This. It's tough being a Panthers fan in Colorado. I used to go to a lot of training camp action back when I lived in Huntersville.

Fua held his ground pretty nice...the other DT got blown up I couldn't see who it was...not full out contact though so hard to judge.

anyone pretending they know how two 3rd round rookie DTs are going to fair after being thrown in the fire their 1st year is showing how ignorant they are to the game..

      I’ve heard that Vegas looks at only 3 things when predicting games and setting the line 1. HC     2  Qb       3. Injuries  If that flash card is true, then it is the Bills to win   Add to it, , the Bills have lost 2 in a row and coming off a bye   They cannot afford to allow the Patriots to hang around by getting a 3rd loss.   That does not bode well for Carolina  to me though  1. it is all on the Panthers oline.  If Lewis returns at full strength, and perform at a high level, huge. 2 the defense needs to pressure and spy on Allen.       To be fair we don't know how Mccaffrey would have looked had he been drafted by the Saints with Sean Peyton and Drew Brees Nor how Kamara would have looked with Mike Shula.
