The biggest insult is saying Tampa is better then us! Their team quit!!!!! and have a totally new staff. It takes at least two plus years for players to learn a new scheme; esp on d. So how are they magically better becuase they added vjack and hics? Bucs will occupy the cellar.

As for new orleans im calling .500 and that is becuase of Brees. Everyone is underestimating how much an interm coaching staff will hurt them. Plus their leaders on D are suspended. All the talent in the world doesnt mean poo without coaches putting them in the right place.

Our real challenge is atl, but i have a hunch we will have their number this year....or at least split.

He seems to overlook how competitive our games were (Kalil tried to point that out to him). But Kalil didn't put much effort into it.....think he knew it wasn't worth it.

Good point... Wins and losses mean everything when you're trying to make the playoffs ,but when you start talking about future seasons, other things should be considered... We could have easily been 9-7 last season with a few breaks (and made FGs)... This team has a real chance to be solid.

The other thing I disagree with is that the Falcons passing game is "more polished" than the Panthers... White and Jones are good, I'll give them that, but their QB, what's his name??? He's never shown me anything...

Saints** will suffer due to dead coaching staff and suck ass defense, but Brees is Brees and they have a badass receiving corps (Though tbh it's the Manning Effect, their WRs aren't that great, Brees makes them good) Their offense will still be quite potent though I wouldn't look for Brees to break his record. They are going to be good but not 13-3 good. They will still be in the playoffs.

I think Atlanta has an implosion year. Turner is a beast but he's getting rusty. Ryan is pretty good in the regular season but I just don't see him being elite like Brees. He's good but not elite despite what Birds fans would tell you. Their D is going to be better than NO's defense but they are probably going to suck despite Asante Samuel. I think they miss the playoffs and have a disappointing season.

Tampa is going to have some growing pains but there will be a lot of reasons for their fans to feel hopeful by the season's end. I think they do similar to how we did last season.

I don't think the Panthers will go 12-4. The NFCS is going to be a battleground this season and I really don't see any of these teams having more than 11 wins tops. I do think the Panthers can unseat the Saints*** but tbh they need to go out with their war faces and prove it.

I wish I was as optimistic as everybody else. I am hopeful but right now Captain is our healthiest #2 corner and our d line is still unproven. My advice is to temper the 10-12 win talk. I will be the first to eat crow if I'm wrong.

      I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.

      I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
