and trekking around the world for half a year with my wife.

any thoughts on where i should go/what i should do?

my general route is largely determined by continental efficiency... i want to cover as much ground as possible without backtracking. so far my basic plan is to fly to panama, work my way into colombia around the darien gap and down into ecuador, raft the amazon river from its headwaters in the andes down to the atlantic in brazil, fly to s. africa, work my way up to north africa, hit parts of europe (western europe very briefly because it's mad expensive) and make my way to istanbul, possibly swing into central asia i stay on track financially, and then down into india, nepal, mainland southeast asia and end in borneo/indonesia.

i'm open to any changes, modifications, whimsical tangents, zephyrs, etc.

western europe is expensive, but eastern europe and the balkan states are pretty cheap, so that'll be an area of interest... croatia, serbia, albania, montenegro, whatever we can do in a couple of weeks (brief as that is) en route to istanbul.

how would you feel about stuffing me into your luggage?

can you bring along a ground-penetrating radar unit or the lab materials necessary to carbon date organic material? if so we'll make this an archaeological expedition and you may travel in my old-ass external frame backpack.

Yeah i've heard its quite inexpensive. And due to the Cold war and the conflicts of the 90's not very known to western travelers.

      Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role.       my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
