LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tony Scott, director of such Hollywood blockbusters as "Top Gun," ''Days of Thunder" and "Beverly Hills Cop," died Sunday after jumping from a Los Angeles County bridge, authorities said.

Tony Scott deserves better than 'Top Gun director commits suicide' in the headlines.

I have a friend that lives in San Pedro that I visit when I am out that way. That bridge is really eerie to cross at night when it is lit up.
