If we don't sign Billy Cundiff.......

Why would we want Mare 2.0? Screw him.

"Reciting his statistics over the past two seasons -- making 90 percent of his kicks inside the 50-yard line, going 12 of 13 in the playoffs and recording the most touchbacks over that span -- Cundiff said his track record should speak for itself."

He got out-performed by a ROOKIE.

He would want a pretty-penny. He was just recently signed to 15 million dollar deal, why cut Mare and sign another kicker that might choke for the money he's gonna want? It's either Medlock(who's contract is very cheap) or Mare.

to save money.

2 years ago he was one of the best kickers in the AFC...he was solid last year and choked on one kick, yes it was bad place to choke but still. he was solid all year. We are hurting for kickers, medlock is playing okay but we need more than that.

Cundiff was 1-6 from 50+ last season. And missed his only attempt the season prier. Besides last year, he actually hasn't made one since 2005 and is a career 5-19 on kicks from 50+.

He had a 75.7 kicking percentage last season also.

His only good year was 2010 where he was 26 for 29 on field goals. Again, not making any from 50+.

His career kicking percentage is 76.9.

This guy sucks d**k

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
