Greg Olsen may be key for success against Giants

I think that Olsen could be in for a breakout game against the Giants. The Giants will bring pressure on Cam so it will be important for him to get rid of the ball quickly. This could give Olsen some opportunities to get open over the middle and on quick outs to the sideline.

I know that we haven't used him a lot so far in the regular season but in preseason he saw several passes from Cam and they were successful. It makes sense that if we wanted to throw a new wrinkle at the Giants that calling plays for Olsen would be one way to throw off the Giants game plan.

Anyone else think this might be the game Olsen has been waiting for?

Gamble and Norman. Mostly Gamble. If he goes in the slot, Munnerlyn and some help.

While I think he could breakout, I think the run game and screens will be more affective in slowing the Dline.

Their D-Line is probably vulnerable to our run game if they continue to play like they have been. They've been getting impatient and selling out for sacks / QB hits rather than playing disciplined football. If this continues in our game our run attack should be able to exploit that pretty heavily.

I think Olsen could be a big factor but I'm not sure that he could be the key.

I think if we throw it to Greg every play he'll put up the numbers huddle fans will want. Hes a threat, plain and simple, and thats what we've lacked at TE. Get the fug over it that he does not get 500 passes a game. Give me a break.

i doubt it. he spent lots of last week blocking and i bet he'll do it again tomorrow. i mean, compare the saints DL to the giants DL. we need all the help we can get, especially if bell has to miss the game. i'm sure tolbert won't put up much numbers either.
