Hakeem Nicks out vs Panthers

This is reminding me of the playoff game against AZ when boldin was out....

Completely different situations - only one WR killed us that game and it's because we had a coaching staff that refused to adjust and let our best CB play on that WR in the 1st half when he had 151 of his 166 receiving yards. Also, if Cam has 6 turnovers like Jake did, yeah, safe to say we'll get blown out.

Norman is our slowest CB....and Eli loves to fling it vertically. Neither of those 2 have Cruz's speed and moves. Norman needs to be on whoever isn't named Cruz.....bc Eli is going to pick on him all night

First off, you should know that Gamble lines up on the left, and Josh lines up on the right. Secondly, have you seen how far back Nakamura lines up? I wouldn't worry about Eli throwing to many deep balls successfully, especially not with our newly found pressure/pass rush.

WoW!!!

Advantage for us.

Let's hope Cruz doesn't kill us alone like in 08' when we thought Boldin being out was an advantage and Fitz murdered us by himself. Just sayin.

NY has a weak secondary with or w/o Prince. Cam and Smitty are going to light it up!

what are you doing !!!!!!!! U mentioned THE game. Never mention THE game.

That was just because Fox was an idiot, didn't assign Gamble to Fitz and just let him line up all over the field against our lesser corners

Most likely you'll see Jernigan in the slot (3rd round pick last year) when cruz is out wide and when cruz is in the slot you'll see

Ruben Randall out wide. Ramses Barden will get a fade or two in the red zone. Jernigan has flashed some, making great catches, but dropping easy ones. Randall looks "pro ready" so far. A lot of guys out. Chris Canty is on PUP also. North Carolina star Marvin Austin will go, so that might be interesting for Carilina fans.

Exactly....Giants can get their matchups.

Eli throws down the sideline better than anyone....his favorite spot. Neither of our Ss have shown they can provide consistant help.

I am very worried about Eli torching us. They arent gonna line up and run over us.....you should know there gameplan involves attacking Norman and our 2 S in the air. I mean if you arent worried about that.....it sounds like u think we are going to dominate.

    • The truth is @CarolinaLivin posted it and I took notice at the names and drove into the rabbit hole, just happen it lead to Plebbit. One of my favorite draft gurus loves KC, just that he's around other panther WRs that have struggled..I mean Im about the only XL supporter leftd. Im like 50/50, but honestly haven't done enough to feel strong either. The drop and zone stuff is not what I like the weakness to be, but he is explosive, play all 3 WR spots, and does have playmaking skills which is rare. Right now I wouldn't be upset if panthers used the 51st. Months ago I told the huddle to prepare for a early WR selection.
    • I appreciate the optimism but there's no way in hell anyone is going to give us a 2nd or a 3rd. We'd legitimately be lucky to get a 5th. Logically it really makes no sense to move him this season anyways. We do know he is a high character guy and should be extra motivated to bounce back from last season. See how it goes and revisit next year.
    • I would add that it is probably likely that you need a T during the season--I am wildly speculating that they like something about Forsythe.  However, that is not enough.  We need 4 players who can play OT in the NFL---we have 3. That suggests that we are going to add an OT at some point.  Perhaps related, but probably a pure depth move: Brady Christensen is an interesting situation. He is likely to miss the first 2 months of the 2026 season, and he will be 30.  He can play all OL positions.  That would give depth when it is usually most needed--the last half of the season.  With his injury, I doubt his phone is ringing much.  I think I would offer a 2-year deal (1.5 if you want to be realistic) for the vet minimum.
