Oh please, you blamed EVERYTHING on Fox.

i did? i blamed fox for gambling too much with draft picks?

there was a lot of stuff that i didn't like either of them because i didn't think either one was doing enough to build the team and were too interested in maintaining the status quo. when hurney moved on from/away from fox he became more palatable to me. i held both of them responsible and often discussions would be which GM we would like to go with our new coach.

i thought that hurney had started to change and be more proactive but i still don't like his approach to team building. it's just not balanced and it never has been. we had too much experience and not enough youth in the fox years to go forward and now the problem is the opposite...not enough experience. too much youth. i also don't like building exclusively through the draft.

i didn't like fox and was more than ready for him to move on. i was open to hurney staying as long as we did something to move forward but i'm ready to move on from him again.

One thing is for sure, with the level of Panther fan anger and disgust reaching an all time high around Charlotte, JR will have no choice but to act decisively at the end of the 2012 regular season.

Honestly, I'm not sure who he'll terminate but knowing JR's history with this organization, if I were the grounds keeper, I would be very nervous.

From what we have read in the past, Hurney is only the cap guy. He does not make the big decisions like other GM's

Our drafts are not that bad. We have had a string of players however that we cut, who go on to make other squads and start.

Our college guys are doing okay in that respect.

Our big problems right now are fundamentals and execution. I would say that falls more on Rivera than anyone. If you say we have the talent, that lets Hurney and college scouts off the hook.

After last season It's hard for me to believe we are now talking about firing Rivera. But then it's not hard to believe when you watch the games. The guy is not head coach material...he's a coordinator. Period. End of story. Our game plan sucks. Our players lack energy. We don't adjust. We can't tackle worth a damn. And the play calls are garbage

This team pisses me off sometimes

Fire Hurney. Get that sack of pigshit outta here cuz it stinks

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
