A chance to ask a question of a Panther

I may have the opportunity to ask some questions of James Anderson next weekend. If you have a question you would like me to ask please post it. I will only ask questions that are mostly serious and respectful. I will provide a link if I get to ask these questions and you will get to hear the answers directly from James Anderson himself.

Note this is not 100% but I think it will be likely.

Ask him who should play MLB.

Seriously, ask him how much influence coach RR has on the defensive side of the ball, being a former player. I want to know if he's more engaged with the linebackers because he knows the position. Seems like he leaves it up to coordinaters/position coaches come game time.

1. Is Rivera the DC....and McD just calling the plays? Or is McD in 95% control of what they do?

2. Should Beason be the MLB if Luke can play better in 2012.

3. If he was the GM and was allowed to bring in 1 player to help....what position would he look to add competition to.

James is a smart guy, so he isn't going to answer anything controversial, i.e. who should play in the middle, or who really runs the D.

Maybe ask him his opinion on our tackling problems. Why do we have so many missed tackles compared to other teams? How do we improve in that area?

    • Where does Dan rank? https://www.nbcsports.com/fantasy/football/news/rotopats-2026-nfl-gm-rankings-analysis-for-all-32-teams 22. Dan Morgan, Panthers "What do you do when you have a questionable quarterback situation? Build out everything else. Although he has used each of his three first-round picks on offensive help for Bryce Young, Dan Morgan is in the middle of a two-year spending spree on defense. The off-field cash infusion led to immediate, massive on-field gains in 2025, with Carolina improving from 32nd to 16th in scoring defense. Morgan has now added EDGE Jaelan Philips and linebacker Devin Lloyd to the mix. Every little bit helps, but there is only so much you can do if you lack a long-term answer under center. For now, Morgan has equivocated when asked if Young will remain with the team following the expiration of his rookie contract. If Young’s year-over-year improvement remains modest or plateaus in 2026, it won’t be because Morgan hasn’t done everything he can to make his life easier. He has used first-round picks on a No. 1 receiver and potential long-term left tackle. He has invested in the backfield and improved the skill player depth. Morgan is making the best of an imperfect situation. That’s all he can do, but sometimes there is nothing you can do to keep your job in the NFL if the quarterback — or owner — doesn’t cooperate."
