U guys need to relax. This team is still in a rebuilding mode. U have a team without any real strong Vets to guide the rookies and show them what it takes to win, so it's a mindet that has to cultivate with time. This team regressed a bit this season but u guys must be realistic. The Panthers is a contending team talent wise but they are still in their infant stage when it comes to knowing how to win in all situations. The faster they adapted to that winning mindset the more comfortable seasonal wins will get.

Somtimes a team has to crawl before they can run.

In all honesty, the Panthers have to learn how to win again. How long has it been since this team had a real winning season?

Once the winning season is accomplished, then the Panthers have to learn how to get through the play-offs. That's a completely different mindset than seasonal games because you lose, you go home. When the play-off wins are mastered, then you get to the SB and hope it's your time to win that. This team is in it's infant stage as far as mindset. I know we live in a time of instant and everyone is impatient but one must be real to themselves.

The Panthers is a much better team than they are playing, so that must mean that their issues are more mental and maturity and not so much talent. Those things are harder to work on than the physical stuff. In time.

Now when it comes to the Falcons, they seem to have the seasonal wins down. Sadly they cannot seem to get far in the play-offs. When it's all said and done, you can rack up those wins every season but if that's as far as you're getting, you might as well have a bad season.

I do think the first Falcon loss was a confidence and chemistry killer that it took months to overcome. We won against Atlanta because we came out angry and inspired to kick some ass. That is the attitude we need to dial up every week. I want them to pick up on Sunday where they left off yesterday instead of experiencing a letdown. We need the killer attitude for the rest of the year. If we do have it, I think we will have turned a corner. Lose this week or next and it is just the same inconsistent effort we saw all Fall.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
