Prime example of why I switched from journalism to logistics. You end up digging too hard for juicy quotes and ultimately piss people off. It's a horrible profession full of unethical decisions. The public could probably care less if LaFell is paying his child support.

ahh man, don't tell me that. I'm 16 and I want so badly to go into journalism, but I just hear nothing but bad things about it

Honestly man, I'd look down a different career path if I were you. I don't mean to discourage you but it's just a bad field that has graduates duking it out for $25,000 salary jobs, whereas business majors have less competition for 6-figure jobs. In addition, I'm just sick of the sensationalism that goes on.

this is what I've been hearing. Yeah I'm thinking about accounting too, won't be rich but you can live a very nice life as an accountant and get a job almost anywhere you want

yeah journalism is an extremely risky career path to get yourself into(and thats putting it lightly) but if thats your true passion then dont let anyone stop you from pursuing it bro. just know the risks and be willing to work your ass off, but thats with any job.. all im saying is, dont let the naysayers stop you from pursuing your passion, happens to too many people. dont let anyone else dictate your path for you is all im saying really.

um that is his job. It's like how TD can act all cool with someone that may be his friend but on the field, all he wants to do is beat them. It's his job and that wasn't very bright of TD but whatever. All I care is him preforming which he is.

His job? His job is to right an article about LaFell paying X amount in child support when someone claims it should be Y.

He isn't good at his job if THAT is covering the panthers

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
