I was having a conversation with my neighbor friend and we got on the subject of how her husband had been jerking of to porn while she was sleeping in the next room. She was upset because "why would he want to jerk off to that when he could have the real thing in the bedroom".

I told her I didn't care if my hubby watched porn, I have watched it with him. It makes for some pretty exciting bedroom time. I've not ever has the issue she was talking about. I'm not a prude and I don't look down on porn and masterbation, but I have to say I would be a little hurt if I knew he was doing it while I was there.

So I was wondering if you fellas have done this with your SO in the next room and whether or not you feel like its wrong or right. Opinions?

Yes I have.. Only because she went to sleep.. No need if shes awake & willing, which she usually is(she usually is willing, but my wife goes to bed earlier than me most nights)... If she is asleep & I need a release then Im going to handle my business, only because she is unavailable at that time. I would rather it be her, but sometimes you have to do what you have to...

My wifes idea of pron is HBOs RealSex, we have never watched even single X together. She got a little upset at me when we first got together because I didnt want to throw away my old Maxims, was still upset after I told her none of the pics were nekkids... She grew up a little sheltered....

I would ask her if she's really interested... maybe he feels like she isn't... maybe he isn't as attracted to her as he could be... maybe he likes porn more than he likes her... could be any number of reasons.

Sounds like she needs to talk with him about it.

LiaG your view on it is normal and healthy imo... it can be something that can be done together to enhance marital sex... not all wives feel that way... :(

A lot of women don't understand that men are much more stimulated visually which is why we like porn.

I would if she was really tired and not in the mood or asleep and I needed to. Otherwise I like the real thing.

I do it to keep my A game. If I know I'm not going to get any that night, I'll do it.

The reason being that my wife may want it 5 days in a row, and then not want to be touched for 3 months.

That kind of feast-or-famine approach is harmful to the male physiology. Got to hit the batting cage on the regular.

I've done it laying beside my wife in bed sleeping. I go by the she has first right of refusal rule. If she turns me down, I'm doing it myself but she doesn't get to watch and enjoy it with me.

      agreed.  Lack of games/opportunity makes him a non-factor in OROTY talk.  He is just now getting the stage where there is legit film on him.  Takes awhile to really see how guys react to all the different scenarios and to find the real weak spots on a QB's play in an O.

      Oh boy how the tables have turned...the passion and extent at which you defend Shough would make even the staunchest Bryce fanboys blush.  The bold part is especially straight from their playbook.  Even if someone here were to withhold giving Shough props, it's pretty understandable as a Panthers fan.  What's quite odd is becoming the biggest stan of our most hated rival's starting QB.  I don't think even Saints fans drool over him this hard. For the record I think this talk about "stans" and "fanboys" is cringe AF and I'm admittedly being rather hyperbolic because this is exactly the kind of discourse and language you personally love to engage in and it's fun to play in the mud from time to time.  There is absolutely no world where you do not meet your own criteria of a "Super Stan" for Shough with how loosely you apply that label to people for Bryce in here.  You're like the Final Boss of Super Stans.
