A little Raider Memory...

once upon a time there was a panthers team that could pull out a victory even if the starting quarterback went 7/27 and threw four interceptions

I know, right? We still have yet to win a single game when Cam has a turnover, or even fumbles even if we still recover it.

I did some research on this and if the same pressure was applied to Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning they would all have sub-.500 career records. This team needs to get back to helping its quarterback not have to be perfect every freaking play.

Here's my Raider memory. Walking across the BART ramp (basically the subway train through the SF Bay Area, connects directly to O.co Coliseum and Oracle Arena) in enemy territory wearing my Smitty Storm jersey. I took my sweater off (in right hand) and told my mom to take a picture because she feared I'd get killed. fug the Raiders.

That game Nnamdi shut Steve Smith down, I had a co-worker at the time and before the game he was talking so much trash, he still talked crap even though we won.

the game was after the bye week and some people were arguing that we had tommy jone to thank for all those ducks jake put up.

he was throwing at asomugha over and over again. he completely trusted steve to make plays on those balls.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
