Nobody is saying that, or at least nobody smart. NFL returners get stopped by punters often, but the difference is they actually do things that make it worth it.

I could say "Hester has fumbled a lot" as justification for Adams, but Hester has scored enough and broken enough runs to make the occasional fumble worth it. Adams hasn't.

Hester has broken enough and scored enough to make getting run out of bounds by the punter no big deal. Armanti hasn't.

Armanti has been the worst PR in the entire NFL and that 60 yard return will likely be the last time he ever touches an NFL football.

Listen, a lot of the panther fans on here who are app fans/students aren't real Panther fans. They say they are, but when a thread like this they pops up they all show their true colors. They don't like the panthers. They like the most famous alumni from a "school" they are a fan of. These are the same "fans" who want Armanti playing QB instead of Cam Newton.

When this scrub is finally cut this off season, all the Armanti/App fans will be pulling for the Saints, Falcons, Bucs or whatever team's practice squad he makes.

App grad here and i've been a Panther fan since day 1, have never said Armanti should be playing QB over Cam and would rather smack my dick with a hammer than pull for the taints, falcunts, or bucs

so quit lumping all App fans/alumns together with a few delusional people in our fan base. the more you post your hatred on this subject, the more i think you have a personal vendetta against the university which is pathetic

The guy caught a wide open pass, should have scored, got caught from a guy 20 yards away and the Armanti clowns think they just won the super bowl.

Then on Sunday, after pulling a Houdini for 2 months since the 70 yard catch, he takes a botched punt 60 yards only to be caught by the punter. It was a gift he couldn't capitalize on. It sums up his career perfectly.

Your hate for ASU is unbelievable. I don't know if it came from where you stated your mom gave money (your allowance) to ASU or because ECU has been irrelevant while ASU was winning championships (at a lower level) and garnering all of the news coverage. I don't know if it's because ECU's highest point was winning the Papajohns.com bowl. Whatever it is you sound like a jealous GF.

I've been a panther fan since day one and have had PSLs since clemson. Nothing changed when armanti was drafted and nothing will change when he is subsequently released. Your posts are getting alot dumber and more bitter with every passing UNC loss. I feel sorry for you but mainly I think you should go fug yourself.

P.S. I don't remember anyone saying that AE should start at QB over Cam. You are grasping at straws moron.

      We’re in a pickle.. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ballvs most Ds and the WRs are healthy he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.

      I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.

      Easy to understand Pickett, if this is anywhere close to on point. Canales wants to get as close to Bryce as he can- get the pace and timing in the throws as close a he can to Bryce. So the other players don’t have to adjust so much, to a new guy.       If Cam was the 1, he would look for a rocket arm.  But Bryce is the 1. Look for limited in the same way.  Low velocity, plenty of air under it, feels just like home when Picket comes in. And you have the guys on the second team not having such a radical adjustment (if they have to play) like with Dalton to Bryce.    Enter Grier. I guess we will collect those types.
