Ndamakong Su Thinks Tom Brady is a Dirty Player

So a guy who puts up his leg as he is sliding to ward off a charging defender is the same as a guy who stomps another player while he is laying on the ground. Note that Suh wasn't fined when he leg whipped the linemen since they couldn't prove intent.

Okay then.........................

When Cam did something akin to this, some of his own team's fans called for him to be suspended and said he doesnt have the leeway to defend himself until he wins a Super Bowl.

Unfortunately everyone isn't judge by the same standards. Matt Hasselback tried to downplay Brady's bad game yesterday Everybody in the league is on Brady's dick but his team hasn't won a Superbowl in 8 years. Brady can do no wrong in the media' eyes because he represents past glory. Cam, RGIII, Kapernick, and Wilson represents what some analyst fear. So they will bash them when they don't live up to the hype and judge them by a different standard..

Swing and a miss.... must not have watched the play.

Brady slid feet first and Reed was pulling up. Brady raised his leg after he went down and his leg kept going higher even after he stopped sliding while Reed was trying to avoid him.

And for the record, Ndamaukong Suh was fined $30k for the kick on Matt Schaub.

I did see the play just didn't see it as that bad. Defenders often try and nail a quarterback as he is sliding. Happened to Cam on a number of occasions. I can see why they feel a need to protect themselves. I don't like Brady at all but I don't see the big deal.

Suh was fined because of stomping the other player earlier in the year and has a bad reputation. Anyone else doing what he did with Schaub wouldn't have been a fine. He really didn't try and hurt Schaub.

If these constant fines for looking at someone the wrong way keep up, lets play flag football instead of tackle football. Did Reed miss any plays?? Was he really hurt? Then what is the big deal???

    • I don't think it was fear of the unknown because he tried to hide the extent of the injuries that made him drop. After the drop, the reports I heard were that teams knew what was wrong with his knee and it was something similar to another athlete from a few years ago (honestly don't remember if it was even a football player).  That it was basically one of those things where he should be fine for a while, there isn't a huge concern of immediate injury risk.   But what he has going on with his knee is something that is degenerative and there's little chance he'll be able to play more than 5 or so years on it before he won't be able to play anymore. So basically it was teams knowing if they draft him, he's probably going to be only a rookie contract player and even if he's great, you might not be able to get use out of him on a second contract.  Which in turn makes the drop make sense, but I'm kinda surprised some contending team didn't take him late in the 1st, hoping he'd put them over the top on a SB run but then not even have to worry about giving him a big contract in 4 years too.
    • Depends if they see the writing on the wall with their roster and contracts and decide to bite the bullet and begin a complete rebuild and roster overhaul.  I have no clue why some franchises (IE us) refuse to do this and keep half assing trying to win 8 games or so.  Do it correctly, take your lumps and build a contender.  We shall see what loomis decides.
    • Each team plays 17 games.  I do not see why they don't just have each team play one international game per year.  Neutral site game, 8 home, 8 away.
